Turns out, the Piku actor was invited to join a panel discussion in Hollywood organised by an international studio, sometime last month.
Reputed directors, famous producers, big films.well, who wouldnt want to be a part of this event? So Irrfan didnt waste a minute in giving his nod.
But just days before the event, the actor had a change of heart.
Said a source, Irrfan suddenly changed his mind and said that he will show up only if a certain amount is paid for his appearance.
And how much was the amount exactly? It was over 10 lakh, the source added.
Despite several requests by the organisers, Irrfan wouldnt budge from his stand. When they refused to cough up the amount, he decided to skip the event altogether, much to the annoyance of the top studio organising it.
